New Year - New Goals!

Let's start by setting an intention that we can actually keep. To be a better version of ourselves than we were in 2017! That should be fairly simple, especially since you could literally choose to improve any aspect of yourself. Even if it is just saying kind things more often, or giving compliments to strangers. You can really never go wrong with kindness.

Once you set an intention that you know you can accomplish, that will enhance your self esteem, and empower you to set more goals and intentions, with the confidence that you can accomplish the things that you put your mind to. Nothing is too small or too large. Try not to be hard on yourself, and give yourself little reminders along the way. "Gentle Nudges", I like to call them. Let yourself know that things will come up along your journey to try to deter you from your goals. If you listen to Abraham Hicks, then you already know that this is called "contrast".

There is always "contrast" in life, it's what is supposed to keep things interesting, whether or not we agree with that. Life is happening to us and all around us all the time, we can't stop it, all we can do is change our reactions to it. When you let your guard down, surrender, and go with the flow, life gets a bit easier. It will most likely never truly be easy for long periods of time, but you can bask in those amazing moments when everything does seem to align!

Setting an intention that serves you, letting go of what doesn't, and giving gratitude for all the good that has manifested in your life thus far, will help you to bring in 2018 right! If you want to do something special to raise your vibration frequency this New Year's Eve, here are a few things you can try:

1) Write a list of things that no longer serve you + burn it in a safe place.

2) Create a vision board, all you need is a surface, glue + magazines!

3) Cleanse your space with white sage by smudging each room + closet.

4) Detox your body with a cleanse or epson salt bath.

5) Listen to sound healing, such as Tibetan Bowls or Crystal Bowls.

6) Get a Reiki Session, Acupuncture, or Massage to relax + restore.

Enjoy your New Year's Eve, and try not to put too much pressure on yourself.
